Q: I have difficulty playing a DVD outside of North America . I am getting a black-and-white image, or no image at all.
A: Daval’s DVDs are region-free encoded for playback in all countries.

The DVDs are in NTSC format, a North-American format, which is compatible world-wide if used with the proper equipment.

DVD players and Television sets play an important role in DVD compatibility. OLDER DVD players and TVs transmit only certain format information from the DVD, resulting in a black-and-white image. Newer DVD players are compatible with several DVD formats.

If you have access to a computer, we suggest that you view the DVD on the computer. Since computers do not have broadcast format configurations and limitations as DVD players and Television sets, the picture should come through accurately.

If the DVD plays on your computer, that means your DVD player or your TV may be older and thus incompatible with newer standards in DVD technology.

You may choose to view the DVD on your computer.
